Vintage estate large handcrafted metal long horn steer head with maker marks. The head is of an unknown to me metal. A magnet will not stick to it at all. I had it tested by a professional jeweler to see if it was silver and in his opinion he wasn’t sure. He acid tested it and instead of reacting with a normal silver reaction he said the acid turned blue. He told me he wasn’t sure what it was made of. The horns are 6 3/4″ wide. The head is 3 1/2″ long and the head is 1 1/2″ thick. Detail is really good except for the makers marks which look like the back side has been roughly handled. The 2 clear makers marks are a circle C and the other is a circle wolf or fox head. I have 2 of these and both were bolted onto small cheap belt buckles. One head weighs 7.1 ounces and the other 6.9 ounces. Selling them by the piece so buy one or double the money and get both. Asking price is 74.95 each.
