Also works on the Ampex ATR-700 Please be aware that I make each remote adapter custom when the order comes in. It could take up to about 10 business days before it ships. I’ve been making wireless remote adapters since 2006 with more than 3500 units shipped worldwide. I am an electrical engineer and started making unit for Nakamichi cassette decks for people on the NakTalk email list. Over the years my customers have asked me to make similar units for other models and brands of audio gear. I now make over 15 models of remote adapters for 11 different brands (Aiwa, Akai, Ampex, Crown, Nakamichi, Otari, Revox, Sony, Studer, Tandberg, Tascam, Teac and Technics). No AC adapter required. Each remote adapter is professional designed and built using a mix of surface mount and through hole components for years of reliable operation. In case there is a problem it is covered by a 1 year warranty. This unit plugs into the 12-pin WAKA remote connector on the back of the deck and will allow the deck to be controlled from any universal remote programmed for Sony VCR (VHS, Beta, 8mm or Laser Disc).
