When we bought the pen, it had a slight flaw in the original section. The housing for the nib was protruding outside of the section, which looked like the previous owner had just jammed it in. Therefore we took another Custom 74 section that we had available here and will be adding that to the pen as a bundle. It is a used section from a pre-loved pen, and we’ll also be including a like-new, ink-tested Pilot No.5 Medium nib into the mix as a bonus for the bundle. The original section has some differences from the slightly modern section, or perhaps this is just what the LE section looks like.
