COLOR Gold/Silver SIZE 64 cm (chain) + 6 cm (extension) 4.5 x 3 cm (pendant) DESCRIPTION Rare 1980s necklace designed by Parisian Haute Couture designer Jean-Louis Scherrer, designed by Stella Wajova, made in Pforzheim, Germany by Henkel & Grosse in gold-plated and rhodium-plated brass, adorned in the center with a large sparkling Swarovski drop crystal with many rhinestones with three sides. The shape of the pendant is inspired by the silhouette of the female body, the outline of the Eiffel Tower and the Art Deco era, and the 4.4K central element is an exact replica of the famous Cullinan IX diamond. The design, in its own refined style, in which Jean-Louis’s aesthetic intuition maintains an exuberance of luxury within the framework of elegance, is influenced by the New Look of Christian Dior, at whose house he worked with Yves Saint Laurent as assistant to Monsieur Dior from 1956 to 1959.
