NOS Raymer Model ACR-1 Audio Controlled RelayOldie but goodie, these last forever! Item is new old stock, may have signs of storage and handling as shown. Feed in an audio source and set the level so when music or voice is present the switch opens or closes Good for all kinds of custom audio projects including:Juke box play take over of background music speakersMusic present activates amplifier Phone paging activates amps ,speakers etcWarehouse or factory Paging mutes closest speakers to avoid feedbackMusic activates lightsMusic ducking during paging. We used to use one of these connected to a standard audio mixer board for some outdoor events , We simply sent an aux out of the paging/announcer mic channel into the input on an ACR-1 and connected the switch contacts into the mixers insert jack on the music channel to automatically mute the music playing during paging or announcements.
